Disclaimer

Nutritionists & other Natural Health Practitioners use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns. This approach allows them to work with individuals to address nutritional balance and help support the body towards maintaining health. Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.

Nutritionists are not permitted to diagnose, or claim to treat, medical conditions. Nutritional advice is not a substitute for professional medical advice and/or treatment. Practitioners never recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice and always refer any client with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to their medical professional. They will also frequently work alongside a medical professional and will communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in the client’s care to explain any nutritional therapy programme that has been provided.

Clients of Nurture Nutrition understand & agree to the following:

You (the client) are responsible for ensuring you make contact with your GP or another medical professional regarding any health concerns you may have.

You (the client) give permission for Nurture Nutrition to contact your GP regarding any aspects of your case that I deem necessary.

You (the client) will ensure to inform Nurture Nutrition if you are receiving any other nutritional advice, and to inform your GP or medical practitioner about advice given to you by Nurture Nutrition.

You (the client) understand that by withholding this information you may cause serious harm due to the potential interactions between medications.

You (the client) understand the importance of telling Nurture Nutrition about any medication, herbal medicine or food supplements that you are taking, as these could interact or alter the results of treatment.

If at any stage you (the client) are unclear on any aspect of your nutrition plan or program, including supplement doses/times, you will contact Nurture Nutrition directly for confirmation.

The recording of any consultation using any form of electronic media is not allowed without the prior written consent of Nurture Nutrition & You (the client).
