TERMS & CONDITIONS
For One-to-One Nutrition Consultations
By scheduling a consultation with Nurture Nutrition, you agree to the following terms.
I (Julie McGill – Nurture Nutrition) agree to provide the best care I can within my scope of practice. You agree to discuss your expectations & the support you require from me during your first session, and for your plan to be reviewed and discussed at further appointments to ensure expectations are met. Communication is key. I strive to provide all the tools you need to reach your goals, but you need to be open with the level of support you need. You acknowledge that the success of any treatment depends upon you following my recommendations, staying motivated and committed and providing me with the information I need to tailor my suggestions to enable you to meet your goals. You also acknowledge that specific results cannot be guaranteed.
Appointment times are as indicated on your booking confirmation, if you are late for an appointment, it will still end at the original time stated.
Payment for your first consultation is collected in full at the time of booking. I provide a secure third-party payment platform to do this (Stripe). If you have chosen a payment plan for your consultation package, this is managed via direct debit from Ezi-debit. Any default fees that occur because of you missing a payment will be charged to you the client. Any set up or ongoing fees for direct debit will be discussed and included in your instalments. I will be in touch with you to set up the direct debit payments. It is your responsibility to ensure your payments are made as per agreed payment plan. I reserve the right to suspend or cancel a programme if you fail to pay me by the due date. In this case I will not be obliged to provide you with a refund for any amounts already paid by you for services rendered. If a package is suspended it will only be reinstated when any non-payment issues are resolved.
Treatment plans, supporting information or products such as supplements will not released unless payment for those services/products has been made in full. Once your package is completed if you continue working with me on a regular basis the payment for any follow up consultations is due in full on the day of consultation. Where payment is overdue or late there will be a delay in you receiving your products and or services as I have set admin times. Any supplements ordered will need to be paid for in full prior to dispatch. Any tests must be paid in full prior to test kit dispatch.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment at any time, you are required to give 48hrs notice so the appointment time can be filled by another client. If you do not turn up to an appointment, and no contact has been made with Nurture Nutrition regarding this, you will be invoiced for the consultation as we will be unable to fill this time slot. A reminder email is sent out 48 hours prior. If you or a dependant family member are unwell, please give me as much notice as possible.
At the competition of your package or during your package you may suspend the package or any subsequent follow up consultations for up to 12 weeks. After 12 weeks you will need to book a new package.

Nutritionists & other Natural Health Practitioners use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns. This approach allows them to work with individuals to address nutritional balance and help support the body towards maintaining health. Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.
Nutritionists are not permitted to diagnose medical conditions. Nutritional advice is not a substitute for professional medical advice and/or treatment. Practitioners never recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice and always refer any client with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to their medical professional. They will also frequently work alongside a medical professional and will communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in the client’s care to explain any nutritional therapy programme that has been provided.
Clients of Nurture Nutrition understand & agree to the following:
You (the client) are responsible for ensuring you contact your GP or another medical professional regarding any health concerns you may have.
You (the client) give permission for Nurture Nutrition to contact your GP regarding any aspects of your case that I deem necessary.
You (the client) will ensure to inform Nurture Nutrition if you are receiving any other nutritional advice, and to inform your GP or medical practitioner about advice given to you by Nurture Nutrition.
You (the client) understand that by withholding this information you may cause serious harm due to the potential interactions between medications.
You (the client) understand the importance of telling Nurture Nutrition about any medication, herbal medicine, or food supplements that you are taking, as these could interact or alter the results of treatment.
If at any stage you (the client) are unclear on any aspect of your nutrition plan or program, including supplement doses/times, you will contact Nurture Nutrition directly for confirmation.
The recording and sharing of any consultation using any form of electronic media is not allowed without the prior written consent of Nurture Nutrition & You (the client).
